Multiple sources are reporting that the Boston Red Sox are in deep discussions with the Florida Marlins to send Manny Ramirez to South Beach for three players.
Joe Frisaro of MLB.com, though, has the best rumor of them all. He is hearing a three-way deal that would include the Pittsburgh Pirates with Jason Bay ending up in Beantown.
Seriously if that happens Bud Selig should close up shop in Pittsburgh. What is the purpose of them even having a team at this point?
UPDATE (10:05 EDT) : The three-way seems to be going down. Baseball Prospectus' Will Carroll seems to think the Commissioner's Office has already been informed that something is real close to getting done.
