Cleveland activates Dellucci from FL

The Cleveland Indians activated outfielder David Dellucci from the 15-day disabled list on Friday.

Dellucci, who has made six trips in his career to the disabled list, has been sidelined since March 30 after being scratched from the lineup of March 28 with a strained left calf.

Dellucci began a 20-day rehab assignment at Triple-A Columbus on April 20 and hit .414 (12-for-29) with a double, triple and two RBI in seven games, hitting safely in every contest

He was also 5 for 10 with runners on base and 3 for 6 with runners in scoring position.

To make room for Dellucci on the roster, the Indians optioned left-hander Rich Rundles to Columbus.
