The Houston Astros have called a news conference for 5:45 (EDT). Owner Drayton McLane general manager Ed Wade and manager Cecil Cooper are all expected to be on hand. No details have been released.
Could McLane be making a managerial move?

UPDATE: Cooper is safe. In fact the team is picking up his option for the 2010 season.
