It is nice to see that Gary Coleman is keeping busy these days. The former Diffrent Strokes star signed a one-day contract with the Madison Mallards on Friday, but was thrown out in his debut after it was revealed that he corked his bat with superballs. Then, of course, he had to argue with the umpire over a precieved short joke. Good times were had by all.
Nice get by the Mallards, by the way. How Coleman was even available for this gig is amazing. Maybe my beloved Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs could land Fred Savage for a one-day assignment.
I love minor league baseball.
